The Membership Director is the direct link between The Twelve Thirty Club and the Nashville community.

This person will be active in representing The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville both on and off property by attending events, exhibitions, new restaurant opening etc. to recruit new Honorary Club members. A successful Membership Director will have many existing relationships in the area and a desire to build and maintain a dynamic and exciting community of Honorary members. This person will constantly be contributing to the growth and maintenance of membership as well as develop personal, professional relationships with members to increase club membership and revenue.

  • Sophisticated sales professional to develop and create new Honorary Member leads by actively soliciting target guests through telephone calls, social media, and physical visits

  • Subject matter expert for all aspects of The Twelve Thirty Club
  • Enthusiastic host of VIP activities for target guests
  • Skillful public speaker to conduct sales presentations and venue tours to potential members
  • Work with Reservationist team to track Honorary Member table reservations
  • Professional and poised to have a visible presence on the floor conducting table visits during dinner service to encourage memberships and field membership inquiries
  • Team player to take care of member needs as they arise and assist with operations as needed
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote and demonstrate superior customer service to VIP clientele
  • Knowledgeable of all property events and activities to ensure that consistent, accurate and timely information is provided throughout the venue and to potential customers
  • Polished and effective communicator to effectively and deal with customers, management, team members and others at an exemplary level
  • Flexibility to be available to respond to guest requests at a moment’s notice with poise and tact

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years membership sales experience; outside sales experience, preferred
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a high-level understanding of interpersonal skills to positively and productively deal with business contacts and team members at all levels of the company
  • Sophisticated communication style with high standards of performance
  • Excellent problem solving and listening skills
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills
  • Available to work lunch and dinner shifts including some holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
  • In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of functions to be determined based upon the particular needs of the venue
  • Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high volume hospitality environment
  • Proficient in Seven Rooms, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong keyboarding and typing skills with a minimum of 50 wpm net
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to details
